New Membership Levels now available

A lot has changed in the world of libraries—and we’re keeping up with the times! We've refreshed our membership options and enhancing communication to create a greater impact in support of the Wichita Public Library.

✅ Refreshed Membership Levels As of Nov. 1, 2025 our new levels range from $15 to $150 and every level includes popular perks like Book Sale preview access and Book Store coupons.

✉️ Email-only Communications To save paper and reduce costs, we’re switching to email-only communication. We’ll transition paper reminders and coupons to be sent directly to your email inbox. 

⭐ Goodbye Gold Stickers The gold sticker has been retired! Memberships are now verified electronically - no need to stick anything to your library card. We’ve already started using this system, so we’ll no longer be mailing out those shiny gold stickers.

If you are a current Friends member, your current membership remains active until your renewal date. You will be notified via email when it’s time to renew.

These updates directly support Library programs and reflect the growing needs of our community. Here’s a glimpse of how our refreshed membership levels will directly help the Library.

• $15 helps add three new board books to the library collection

• $35 covers the cost of a Book a Librarian appointment for research or technology help

• $75 provides an e-book for one year

• $150 funds a Book Bus stop at a school, park, or community site
