Since September 2025, Nicole has been offering her graphic design skills and is the talent behind the new window cling wrap on the Used Bookstore inside the Advanced Learning Library.

Susie is the Friends’ Treasurer and numbers whiz! She started volunteering in Feb. 2024, and as Friends’ volunteer, she manages everything from book sorting and displaying, to merchandise sales tracking and financial deposits.

Cindy is a weekly fixture at the used bookstore. She enjoys reading historical nonfiction and discovering vintage King Arthur cookbooks. Her love of books and reading is inspired by her parents, who were avid readers. When she's not at the library, you might find her walking her new rescue dog.

For nine years, Brian Blackerby has been a cornerstone of the Friends of the Wichita Public Library. With seven years of Board service, his commitment runs deep. Inspired by a mother who was an elementary school librarian, Brian believes that "reading is a success multiplier."
